| The
actions of OVIS has been focused mostly into the ecological
reserves of Carmen Island, Baja California Sur, El Plomito,
Sonora, Los Ebanos, Tamaulipas and La Mesa, Marín, Nuevo
León. However, its conservation efforts and results go
farther than these areas, as they are located in high –priority
areas designated by the Mexican federal and state governments:
Sierra “El Viejo”, Sonora, Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas,
Islas del Golfo de California and Parque Nacional Bahía
de Loreto, Baja California Sur, and Sierra de Picachos, Nuevo
León, Mexico. |
